Lucky VR is a virtual reality (VR) game development studio that’s creating the next generation of online social gaming. Our exclusive partnership with PokerStars (the world’s largest poker site) has propelled our debut game (PokerStars VR) to becoming one of the most popular multiplayer games in VR.

Originally based in Toronto, our team has adopted remote working for the future. As we continue to grow rapidly, we’re looking for talented people to help make our ambitions a reality.


We are looking for a motivated Recruiter to join our team. You’ll ideally be comfortable working on technical roles and have a few years of experience building and balancing your own candidate pipelines. You will be collaborating with our People team on role prioritization, candidate experience, employer brand and much more! This will be a role with high potential impact and high growth potential!


  • Responsible for the full recruitment life cycle, including but not limited to, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, and negotiating compensation.
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques to uncover both active and passive talent through external websites including LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, and other methods.
  • Explore and discover new tools to help supplement a high efficiency recruitment process
  • Establish excellent peer relationships with internal stakeholders to solve problems, gain cooperation and build trust and support within the team environment.


  • Have demonstrable experience within a full cycle recruitment role.
  • Be technically savvy and able to pick up new software tools.
  • You can work independently.
  • You are self-motivated, results driven and maintain composure in the face of new and exciting challenges.
  • Possess a passion for technology, and an enjoyment for learning about the newest trends in IT.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • A love for games or experience in the game industry is an asset!
