Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Unity engineer to help us define how we need to evolve our architecture to achieve our ambition of building Vegas in the metaverse. A wide range of opportunities are available depending on interest in skills. From isolating components to manage scalability, rendering research, networking architecture to something as ambitious as creating APIs for 3rd parties so they can contribute to the evolution of our world.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop and implement gameplay architecture to improve scalability
  • Architect, develop and implement APIs to structure the work between departments, outsourcers or 3rd party contributors
  • Architect, develop and maintain components library for project team
  • Develop strategies to re
  • Document systems and procedures

Requirements

  • Significant experience with the Unity game engine
  • Fluency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java and C++
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments
  • A constant desire to learn, improve, and help others improve
  • Ability to onboard and work remotely
  • Experience designing systems in modern AAA game projects
  • Optional: Significant experience designing multiplayer game systems
  • Optional: Significant experience with the Unreal game engine
