Role:

Lucky VR is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team. The individual will be well versed in the ownership and presentation of various financial projects. They will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional analysis of the received requests, identify solutions addressing the needs or issues for the portfolio tools and data flows
  • Act quickly to unblock business activity for urgent situations
  • Work closely with the development team for tasks requiring technical intervention
  • Ensure tasks logging and follow-up
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with our business partners, offering visibility, assistance and advice in a professional manner
  • Coordinate with the business and functional teams with respect to project milestones
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of new solutions

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Finance, accounting or consultation in a similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Expert level experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Canadian tax incentives is an asset
  • Experience with insurance policies and underwriters is an asset
  • Experience at a Canadian gaming studio or tech company is an asset
